Our Story

An operation you shouldn't have to travel for.

A hernia. A gallbladder. A delivery that needs a theatre ready.

For years, that meant a bus to Lucknow — and a family sitting up all night, far from home.

Gayatri Hospital was built so it wouldn't have to.

Our own doctors. Our own operating theatre. Keyhole surgery where it suits you better than open. All of it on Station Road, opposite the District Hospital — for more than a decade.

Treatments

What we treat here.

A surgical hospital first — with gynaecology and urology under the same roof, and our own theatre a corridor away from the consulting room.

Laparoscopic Surgery

Keyhole surgery, where it suits the case better than open. Smaller cuts, less pain, and a patient back on their feet sooner.

Hernia & Appendix

The two operations Gonda needs most often. Assessed honestly, scheduled quickly, and explained to you before anything begins.

Gynaecology & Obstetrics

Women's health, pregnancy care and deliveries — with a lady doctor, a theatre on standby, and the privacy every mother deserves.

Urology

Stones, prostate trouble and urinary complaints. The problems men quietly put off for years — looked at properly, without embarrassment.

Piles, Hydrocele & Cysts

Day-to-day general surgery: haemorrhoids, hydrocele, cyst removal. Common complaints, handled routinely and discreetly.

Anaesthesia & Theatre Care

Our own anaesthesia cover and post-operative care. You are watched over from the moment you go under to the day you walk out.

Your Visit

From first question to going home.

Nobody should walk into an operation unsure of what happens next. Here is exactly how a visit to Gayatri Hospital goes.

Come to OPD

Mon to Sat, 10am to 2pm. Register at the desk in two minutes — or message us on WhatsApp before you travel in.

Examination

Unhurried time with the doctor. If surgery isn't needed, you will be told so plainly. If it is, you'll hear why.

Treatment or Theatre

Medicine where medicine will do. Where an operation is right, the theatre is a corridor away — open or laparoscopic, as your case needs.

Follow-Up on WhatsApp

Dressing dates, stitch removal and post-operative instructions reach your phone — so nothing is forgotten on the journey home.

Our Promise

Why families choose us.

No operation you don't need.

If your case can be managed without surgery, we will tell you so. If it needs a hand we don't have, we'll name the right hospital. Trust is our only advertisement.

The cost, before you decide.

What the operation involves and what it will come to — explained to the family in plain language, before admission, not after.

The same doctor, throughout.

The doctor who examines you is the doctor who operates and the doctor who sees you at follow-up. Nobody hands your case along.

Right where you already are.

Bharatpuri, on Station Road, directly opposite the District Hospital — no new city to find, no night spent away from home.

OPD runs Monday to Saturday, 10am to 2pm. Walk-ins are welcome in that window. If you're travelling in from outside Gonda, message us on WhatsApp first — we'll tell you the best time to arrive so you're not waiting.

Laparoscopic — or keyhole — surgery is done through a few small cuts instead of one large one, usually meaning less pain and a quicker return to normal life. It suits many cases but not all. The doctor will examine you and tell you honestly which approach is safer for your case.

Any old prescriptions, previous reports or scans, and a list of the medicines you take now — especially blood-thinners, sugar and blood-pressure tablets. If you have none of these, come anyway; we'll start fresh.

Yes. Before any admission, the doctor explains what the procedure involves and the counter explains what it will come to, so the family can decide together. Nothing is decided for you at the last moment.

Yes. Alongside general and laparoscopic surgery, the hospital runs gynaecology and obstetrics — antenatal check-ups, women's health complaints and deliveries — with the same theatre and anaesthesia cover on site. Call us to ask about the current schedule.
